San Antonio,TX – IHRA Funny Car driver Terry McMillen brings his Amalie Oil/Torco Dodge Avenger, the Instigator, to the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas during this weekend’s Monster Jam. The event runs from Friday, January 21st through Saturday, January 23rd. McMillen will be promoting the IHRA season opener, the Amalie Oil Texas Nationals presented by Ancira Cars, Trucks and RVs and the San Antonio Express News.
McMillen, from Elkhart, Indiana, will host Pit Parties for Clear Channel employees Friday night and for fans Saturday afternoon. He’ll fire up the car and perform burnouts inside the Alamodome on Saturday and Sunday.
Monster Jam fans can take advantage of a special deal being offered at Saturday’s Pit Party and at the entrances before and after the shows. Buy an adult and kid’s ticket for Friday’s “Night of Fire” and championship qualifying for just $25. With this special two for one deal, all tickets include free parking and pit pass.
McMillen, an IHRA Funny Car veteran and third place finisher in this year;s points, debuted the Instigator paint scheme at the Amalie Oil Texas Nationals in 2003. The car became a fan favorite and McMillen one of IHRA’s most popular drivers.
