As everyone spends time preparing for the upcoming holidays our race team is running wide open. We have been blessed in so many ways. With all of our marketing partners and our families we enjoy the opportunity of chasing our dreams.
Our race team has taken a page from Evan Knoll, owner of Torco Race Fuels and many other successful companies. Evan taught us how to give back to the sport we love. That’s why we got involved with the Adopt a Jr. Dragster program back in 2005. Our goal is simple, to help youngsters and families get a head start in drag racing. Our plan is to assist with the fundamentals of marketing and the ins and outs of how to get a sponsor and what you have to do to keep one.
As Andrew from Amalie Oil or Mark at Flatout Gaskets can tell you, it is much easier to find a sponsor than it is to keep one. What makes this program a success is the fact that the kids learn how to speak with sponsors. It also assists them in their scholastic abilities such as reading, writing and spelling.
The true benefit to this program is learning how to spend quality time with our families. Just as we all should, especially during the holiday season. Bottom line – when the kids become adults they will know how to approach the Evan Knoll’s of the world with a business and marketing plan that will show him a return on investment.
