WARNING – No sheep were harmed in the playing of this game.
Rhonda sent this out today. I thought it fit drag racers to a “T”.
It’s like practicing your reaction time. The best part you ask? Well, you are practicing by shooting sheep with a tranquilizer dart.
Kind of fits right? If you get caught counting sheep at the lights in drag racing – the race is over.
Give it a shot and let us know how you do. You’ll get 5 chances and it will track your reaction time – give you an average – and rate you based on your average.
Sound easy? Well, let me warn you. That one stinking flea bitten sheep near the bottom keeps acting like he’s going to jump. I can’t tell you how many times he caused be to foul.
Head for a Cure Fundraising
On December 16, 2007, Kimberly will lose her hair. The 10-year-old Canadian drag racing fan from Alberta will shave her head to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society.
“Kimberley lost a friend last year to Cancer,” her mother Brenda said. “This effected her to a great extent. She came to me in the middle of October and asked if she could do this and of course I said yes, but thinking that maybe she would just forget about it in a couple of days. Needless to say, she was very persistent.”
Kimberley will join another famous Albertan named Kim. Kim Reeves, track owner of the Castro l Raceway in Edmonton, shaved her head at a public auction a few years ago to raise donations for the Cancer Society.

Pulling the front wheels at half track
As if driving a top fuel car isn’t hard enough…
Here’s a shot taken about half track by our friend Bob Szelag during Friday qualifying at the Fall Rockingham race. Notes from the tower said, “McMillen shook, pedaled, shook again and shut it off.”
Oh… and had the wheels hiked in the air at half track…

McMillen Top Fuel Car Used in Torco Advertisement
If you’re like me you can’t believe the drag racing season is over. But that doesn’t mean that there is not a lot of drag racing going on.
Terry McMillen’s Top Fuel dragster is being featured in some Torco Race Fuels print advertising this off season (or early season depending if your glass is half full or empty). That’s pretty cool all by itself.
Something tells me that you’ll see this picture at an upcoming trade show boot or two also.
Not to be out done, Amalie Oil featured McMillen’s Amalie Oil InstiGator Funny Car at their booth during the APEX show in Vegas earlier this month. I wasn’t able to grab a shot of the booth since APEX doesn’t allow cameras on the convention floor, but rumor has it there is a photo floating around somewhere. You’ll see it here as soon as it finds its way to my inbox.

Halloween Classic – San Antonio, Texas
ROCKDALE, TX – New Breed Racing’s Alesi and Ayrton Gerthe decided to add a last minute race to their 2007 schedule and plan to have a “spooktacular” time at San Antonio Raceway’s Halloween Classic October 26-28.
Team New Breed Racing’s Alesi Gerthe will compete in the electronics class and Ayrton will begin his training to obtain his Quick Rod license.
“Todd and Judy Zampese have a big, fun-filled weekend of racing planned and our schedule has never allowed us participate and it’s one we have heard great things about in the past, so we decided at the last minute to load the transporter and make the drive to San Antonio,” commented Alesi.
