Las Vegas, Nev. – Terry McMillen Racing crew member Ben Lacher took the next step in his quest to earn his Top Fuel license when he completed three passes in an AA/Fuel Dragster from Nitro University. The three successful passes earned the UNOH graduate and four year McMillen crew member his AA/Fuel License leaving just three successful Top Fuel passes left to earn his crossover licenses.

“We’re excited for Ben,” McMillen said. “He’s one of the hardest working young men in this business and deserves everything he’s worked so hard for. Our plan is to help him get his Top Fuel license early in 2016 and hopefully find sponsorship to field a second car.”

McMillen continued, “We like to have a backup plan in case anything ever happened. Ben understands how our team is structured and it makes him the ideal choice.  It was awesome standing outside the car watching him navigate the 1320. It was definitely an honor to be one of the drivers signing his licence. Our tentative plan is to complete his Top Fuel licensing before Gainesville if possible.”
